Few will argue that US democracy, and US-led post WWII world order, are both at a historic crossroads. Biden's progressive, pro worker, pro equality agenda is stalled. An outright fascist leading faction in the Republican party has not been defeated sufficiently to move the country away from multiple threats of disunion. Bernie Sanders says "Hold the Line. Force politicians to be accountable for their stands before the voters.." Others appear to have abandoned that and think relaunching the cold war with Russian and China will win American hearts and minds away from the pandemic and hardship  with bloodletting over NATO seizing Ukraine, or separating Taiwan from China.
